Lorretta J. Roberts, M.S., LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of mental health experience. She provides services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Mrs. Roberts is the owner of Voice Freely Counseling, PLLC, and co-founder of Daisies and Lillies Counseling Services, LLC. Both practices reflect a commitment to accessible and compassionate mental health care. All services you receive from Voice Freely Counseling, PLLC reflect the practice's healthcare license and professional practice style. Mindful Therapy Group, P.C., a Washington Professional Services Corporation, provides business administrative services for Voice Freely Counseling, PLLC. Since Mindful Therapy Group subcontracts with Mindful Support Services, LLC, some communications related to your care may reference Mindful Support Services. Mrs. Roberts has experience in clinical assessments, crisis stabilization, treatment planning, short-term therapy, and care coordination. Her background also includes individual, family, and group counseling. Areas of clinical experience include anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, substance use, suicidal ideation, and relationship concerns. Clinical services have addressed the complex behavioral health needs of individuals affected by homelessness, incarceration, domestic violence, human trafficking, and child welfare involvement. Mrs. Roberts earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Prairie View A&M University. She earned a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Mrs. Roberts is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with an Emphasis in Behavioral Health at Grand Canyon University. Memberships with the American Counseling Association and Texas Counseling Association support an ongoing commitment to ethical and culturally responsive counseling practices. Treatment Modality and Therapeutic Orientation Mrs. Roberts' therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered. She utilizes evidence-based modalities tailored to individual needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), components of Cognitive Process Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). Additional approaches may include mindfulness-based interventions, narrative therapy, Gestalt techniques, art therapy, and family systems therapy. Case management services are not provided, including documentation for disability, unemployment, custody, adoption, foster care, legal proceedings, or court-related matters. We do not provide services for individuals who are court-mandated or require attendance verification for external entities. Therapy has both benefits and risks. Clients may experience emotional discomfort as they explore challenging topics. Outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
